Fishing for Black Rockfish with medium/light action spinning gear can be a blast! With spring right around the corner I found myself needing a quick "fix" so I headed out to the south jetty in Westport Washington and caught Rockfish after Rockfish tossing light 1 ounce Lancer jigs right up into the rocks...great fun and the pile of fresh fillets is really nice too...Go get some!
